CREATE A CLEAR GOAL AND ACTION PLAN.  You are much less likely to derail when you know exactly where you want to go.


EAT YOUR CALORIES AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.  Soft drinks, juice, and sugary coffee drinks can put a very big dent in your daily calorie budget.


AIM FOR 4 CUPS OF FRUIT AND VEGGIES PER DAY. Mostly non-starchy vegetables such as tomatoes, greens, broccoli, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms.


NO MEAL SKIPPING.  That promotes weight GAIN not loss.  Aim for three meals and 2 (or 3) snacks per day.
